Ambassador Liu Xiaoming: We are leaving the UK today as I complete my tour of duty as Chinese Ambassador.

刘大使：今天，我和夫人胡平华将结束任期，离开英国。

We have been here for 11 years.It is indeed an honour to be the longest-serving Chinese Ambassador both in the history of China-UK relations and of all Chinese ambassadors of all time.

持节英伦11年，我成为中国历史上任期最长的驻英使节和驻外大使，深感荣幸和珍惜。

I want to thank all the friends who have cared for and supported China-UK friendship, and provided support and assistance to me in my work! I will cherish the memories of our time in the UK.

在此，我谨向关心与支持中英友好的朋友们，向为我履职提供支持和帮助的朋友们，致以诚挚谢意！

No matter where I am or what I do in the future, I will follow China-UK relations and I will always be an envoy for China-UK friendship.

英伦岁月将成为我最珍贵的回忆。无论今后身在何处，我都将心系中英关系，永远做中英友好的使者。

China and the UK are great countries with time-honoured history and splendid culture. Both are countries of global influence. A sound and stable relationship is not only in the interests of our two countries but also conducive to world peace and prosperity.

中英两国都是伟大的国家，都拥有悠久历史和灿烂文化，都具有重要国际影响力。一个健康稳定的中英关系，不仅符合中英两国利益，也有利于世界和平与发展。

It is our sincere hope that China-UK friendship will last forever, China-UK cooperation will become deeper and wider, and China-UK relations will go steady and go far.
